Villa Romana del Casale and its precious mosaics

Pick-up from your accommodation at 8 a.m. Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, Sicily, is the supreme example of a late-imperial Roman luxury villa. The Villa is famous for the richness and quality of its mosaics (4th-century AD).   Our visit starts from the monumental entrance, where we will begin our two-hour journey into Roman history and culture.
